Cyberpunk 2077 has finally graced us with it’s first Xbox Series X gameplay video, and it’s 10 minutes long!
Most of the gameplay we’ve seen so far, ran on high-end PC’s. Now, we can finally get a look see at what it will look like on the next-gen console. And as an added bonus, the game also runs on the previous generation Xbox One X.
Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay
For the first time, CD Projekt Red shares Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay captured on an Xbox Series X.
It’s clear the Polish developer is just showing off at this point, as the video is clearly designed to show the graphical prowess of Cyberpunk 2077. I mean, look at the lighting inside the night club!
Surprisingly, portions of the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay running on the past-gen Xbox One X also look stunning!
So for all the fans that buy the game on Xbox One X, you’ll get your money’s worth in terms of graphics regardless of the console’s age. In fact, whenever you do decide to upgrade to next-gen, you’ll get the upgrade for free!
As shown in the Series X gameplay video, Cyberpunk 2077 is diverse, both in terms of environments and ‘human’ beings. The video cuts between multiple parts of different missions, giving us a better idea of what types of missions we can expect.
Xbox Series X|S upgrade
At the end of the video, CD Projekt Red’s community manager reconfirms how Cyberpunk 2077 will transition to next-gen.
For now, the game comes out on Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. But the full next-gen upgrade will arrive sometime next year.
So on December 10th, we’ll be playing a current-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077. Though frankly, from the graphics in the video, it looks like everyone will be getting a great graphical experience.
