New Cyberpunk 2077 Video Shows Over A Minute Of New Gameplay

Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 are once again graced with some new gameplay footage of the upcoming RPG. This time though, it’s not as structured and well crafted as we’re used to. The footage, that is, as Night City and a German speaking Keanu Reeves are as beautiful as ever.

New Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay

A Reddit user by the name of u/cybersidpunk posted a compilation of new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage. It’s completely in German, though yours truly is happy to translate it for you! Another user spotted the original source of the gameplay soon after. As it turns out, it’s a 7-minute exclusive for German news association Das Erste.

Transcription

For the true fans, here’s a transcription of the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage seen above. You do have to excuse the occasional gap in my German, I’m not a native! Additionally, the edit is quite rough as it was originally intercut with interviews. I’ve puzzled together the parts accordingly.

Female narrator: “The journey takes us to Night City, an *inaudible* on the American west coast.”
Man: “This city doesn’t leave you any choice: you either burn with an outlandish body, or you’ve never existed at all.”
Female narrator: “Typical for the genre, [Cyberpunk 2077] explores where humanity begins and where it ends. Bodily modifications are nothing out of the ordinary.”
Male translator: “When I move through the city and meet new characters, there are no cuts, no interruptions. As a player, you’re constantly immersed in the game. That way, you’re always invested in what happens in the story.”
Female narrator: “Who get’s which cyber-implant.”
German Keanu Reeves: “Trust me or not, I don’t give a damn. It’s the least of our worries.”

As you can see and read, no real bombshells are hidden in the gameplay. Still, if you’re one of presumably thousands of other die-hard Cyberpunk 2077 fans, this gameplay is just what you need to keep you going until the release of the game, slated for the 10th of December. Just a bit more crunch to go!
