Respawn Confirms ‘A Ton Of Titanfall’ Coming To Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment finally confirmed the integration of Titanfall into Apex Legends. As Eurogamer reports, during an online panel with multiple devs, the company confirmed their plans of introducing Titanfall-content in the free-to-play battle royale. Stand by for Titanfall!

Titanfall in Apex Legends

At the end of March, a new Legend for Apex Legends leaked. Supposedly, the game would get it’s first Titanfall character soon. As it turns out, that leak seems to be very accurate, given that the developers have now confirmed the integration of their initial franchise into battle royale hit Apex Legends.

In the panel, devs initially confirmed that “Titanfall’s very much a part of the [Apex Legends] universe”. We already knew that ever since Apex came out, though. What is new, is the actual confirmation of Titanfall-content for Apex:

“Next season – Season 9 – you’re actually going to see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game, in one way or another.”

In what way exactly, is unclear as of yet. They could be referring to new Legends from the Titanfall universe (complete with Titans). With every new Season, Apex Legends’ maps change a little bit too, so we might see some map elements carry over into the game. We could even be looking at a completely new, Titanfall-inspired map altogether.

We’ll probably hear a lot more in the upcoming weeks. Apex Legends Season 8 is slated to end on May 3rd. So theoretically we’re less than a month away from Season 9 and loads of Titanfall-related content.
