Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 76 will get player vending.
Player vending has been requested since Fallout 76 was released in November. Bethesda confirmed this to be a part of a future update in their blog post, Tuesday.
We don’t know many details about how it will work, what you can or can’t sell, where you can sell etc., but players have expressed their excitement to be able to buy and sell goods in the wasteland of West Virginia. More details will be needed to explain the specifics of it such as pricing, locations, and general vending instructions but we hope to have that information in the coming weeks.
Interesting things could unfold with a player vending feature, will players become more entrepreneurial and try to corner a market? Will people band together as bandit’s to rob other player shops? It is nice to see Fallout 76 making something worth interest in their latest attempt at a Fallout title.
While the game has lacked in excitement as well as variety in the wasteland, player vending does seem like a good way to mix the game up and let the MMORPG aspect of the game shine. It has seemed that most of the blowback with Fallout 76 was the lack of exciting content as well as not seeming like an upgrade from the previous release of Fallout 4.
With that said we are excited to hear about more regarding the player vending. When that info drops we will be sure to get it out to you guys. Until then, let us know what you think about Fallout 76 and the new player vending feature coming soon!
