Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will launch into Season 2 on February 25th. The announcement goes alongside a new trailer showcasing combat in the jungle. But not just some fight, there’s multiple new Operators and a few new toys that will be coming in Season 2.
Warzone And Black Ops Cold War Season 2
The latest Call of Duty, Black Ops Cold War, and battle royale spin-off Warzone were effectively merged last December. This is the first season after said event and it seems to introduce a couple of new things for players to enjoy.
For starters, the reveal trailer shows a handful of new Operators coming to Call of Duty. Activision details a shades-sporting, magnum-wielding badass called Naga in a blogpost accompanying the trailer.
Additionally, the trailer shows a few more unknown characters (besides Black Ops veteran Woods). They fly a helicopter into a firefight, rescuing a new female character. Our guess is that Naga, the female character, and the mini-gun-toting dude are all new playable Operators.
Guns galore
Besides characters, the cinematic also showcases a couple of new firearms. Or weapons, rather, as we catch a glimpse of a new crossbow. Of course, Warzone already features a tactical crossbow, but it would be a first for Black Ops Cold War.
Additionally, the trailer shows a new magnum revolver, what appears to be a Galil, a new submachinegun (an MP9 would be my guess), and most notably, a freaking minigun. The latter probably won’t be something you can just pull out of a Loadout Crate; it’s probably a score streak reward for Black Ops Cold War. Maybe Warzone also introduces a new mechanic to get the minigun, regardless of if you’re the Juggernaut or not.
We’ll know on February 25th, when Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War launches.
